History

NMP Consulting was founded in 2002 and is based out of Powell, Ohio. After experiencing over 100 percent growth each year since its founding, NMP Consulting has established a branch office in Palm Beach, Florida, and a sales presence in New York City.

Personnel

NMP Consulting prides itself on providing its customers with a highly responsive, experienced staff of consultants and technicians. We currently employ a workforce of 9, led by President Rick Shantery.

In addition to serving as President of NMP Consulting, Rick also serves as a consultant for the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department and the National Fraternal Order of Police, providing expert opinions and testimony in the areas of computer forensics and data recovery, as well as performing security audits and database analysis.

After graduating from The Ohio State University in 1988, Rick joined the Columbus, Ohio, Division of Police and served as a detective and patrol officer, and later as their network administrator. During this time, he also worked as an independent IT consultant, and later took a position as Senior IT Architect/Senior Network Engineer at a document imaging company.

Rick has several years of experience in LAN, WAN, and Datacenter design, engineering, installation, and support, as well as administering Windows, Linux, and OS X systems, from Enterprise-class servers to PC workstations.

NMP Consulting also partners with ImageWork Technologies Corp. in New York to provide network and server support as a subcontractor on Government and private sector projects.
